Murphy’s Jewelers names Chelsea Walsh as partner

Murphy’s Jewelers of Magnolia has announced that Chelsea Walsh recently became a partner with the company.

“We’re very pleased to have Chelsea join the Murphy’s family,” said store owner Richard Murphy. “During her time at Murphy’s Jewelers, Chelsea has demonstrated her commitment to hard work and excellence. We look forward to her continuing to serve our customers for years to come.”

Walsh, a graduate of Southern Arkansas University with a degree in accounting, joined Murphy’s in 2010 as a sales professional, and has since worked as marketing and sales vice president, where she has developed advertising and promotions for the store while continuing her work with customers.

Walsh, who graduated from Bradley High School, joins Richard Murphy and Mark Williams as partners. Williams, who has been with Murphy’s for 23 years, is the store’s vice president of store operations.

“I’m very excited about this opportunity,” said Walsh. “I love working with our customers, and I appreciate their support and trust they’ve shown me. I look forward to continuing to serve our customers and building on the Murphy’s brand in the years to come.”

Walsh, and her husband Josh, live in Taylor.
